2013 Gettysburg Farnsworth House Inn Booking Opens Monday October 1

Monday, October 1, is when the Farnsworth House Inn reservations open for booking 2013. We have a new efficiency suite located off of the property called our BACK ALLEY HIDEAWAY that includes a full kitchen and is perfect for one day up to a week. It is a two story suite and sleeping bags are permitted. Call 717-334-8838 to book for 2013. Keep calling throughout the day if you cannot get through. The office opens at 9am, but we expect to be busy. Do not leave messages on the answering machine for reservations. We look forward to a lot of you joining us in 2013!

The Historic Farnsworth House Restaurant and Tavern are now open 7 days a week!
The Tavern is open daily from 11:30 a.m. - 9p.m. and the dining room is open 5-9p.m.
Come out and enjoy great food in an historic atmosphere...The game pie is now on the Tavern menu! It is calling your name!

Winter Entertainment in Gettysburg

The Farnsworth House is proud to present their annual Murder Mystery Dinner in the dining room every Friday night at 7pm. Join the lady of the house as she invites Madame Henrietta to lead a Seance Dinner to open the door to the other side. The seance never gets off the ground because death already knocked. Call 717-334-8838 to make reservations. This dinner show can fill up quickly.

On Saturday nights thru March our Vacant Chair Dinner Theatre returns at 7p.m.in the dining room- complete with period songs, mourning customs, superstitions and ghost stories. A period dinner served by the fire is just the thing to take off the chill on a cold winter's night.
